Return to Rome

I'm no stranger to Rome, but returning after the pandemic lockdown brought on a calmness not normally seen in this ancient and lively city. I was treated to quiet piazzas, private views over the Vatican City, and distinctively good wine and pasta. And just a short train ride away, sat the old and beloved town of Orvieto.
